Guillermo joined Foundations of Success Latin America and the Caribbean Team in 2005. He is based in Rio Cuarto, Argentina where he enjoys producing and processing food from his own vegetable garden, orchard, and hens. Before joining FOS Guillermo did research in subtropical forest ecology and then managed the WWF tri-national conservation program in the Atlantic Forest of Argentina, Brasil, and Paraguay. This experience made him aware of the complexity of conservation projects and the need for better practices and simple tools that allow bridging the gap between science and conservation. He is passionate about applying the principles of adaptive management and bringing people with different expertise together to seek for solutions under complex situations.
