Armando joined the FOS Latin America team in 2015. Armando is mainly focused on programmatic work within Latin America, supporting organizations, communities, and government agencies. He’s based in Peru (Lima) where he enjoys traveling around the country and learning from the different cultures there. After his time with different regional organizations and working with local communities, Armando became interested in how to effectively bring together stakeholders to the table to develop successful conservation solutions. Armando teaches conservation and adaptive management at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) in Lima to ensure future generations of agile conservationists.
