Design Alternatives for Evaluating the Impact of Conservation Projects

This chapter discusses a range of design options to evaluate conservation interventions and the different results they produce. As alternatives to experimental and quasi-experimental design and the use of counterfactuals, these evaluation design options consider the unique challenges that influence evaluation design selection in conservation.
