Ashleigh joined the FOS team in 2016. In addition to FOS programmatic work, Ashleigh manages FOS communications and outreach. She’s based in Washington, D.C. where she enjoys outdoor adventures with her pup, Lycaon. After her time with the Peace Corps in Cameroon and Senegal, Ashleigh became interested in effective conservation solutions that meet the needs of both the natural world and local communities. Acknowledging that behavior change is most of the conservation battle, Ashleigh spends a lot of her time thinking about how to better communicate conservation topics.
