Nico joined the FOS in 2016. In 2018 he became co-director of FOS Europe and since manages the programmatic work in Europe alongside Ilke. He’s based in Berlin, Germany and he’s passionate about climbing and bouldering. Before Nico started working with FOS he was responsible for planning, monitoring, and evaluation at WWF Germany. Nico dedicated the last ten years of his professional life to building adaptive management capacity with conservationists. He served as a lecturer for bachelor and master students and, after co-founding the franchise, now leads the European Conservation Coaches Network (CCNet).
